Best Roofing Companies in Branford, Florida - 7 Compared (2026)
By Shelly Marchetti, Florida homeowner advocate. Reviewed by Hal Winstead, Editor, licensed roofing contractor.
Last June, after a line of thunderstorms rolled throught Branford, I found myself in the carport of a low brick ranch on Northwest Harvey Street, holding a flashlight while a homeowner pointed at water stains on the ceiling. The shingles above had seen better days, and so had the last contractor's patch job. That's the thing abotu this town: you can't judge a roof from the street, and you can't judge a roofer from a truck magnet.
I built this list the slow way. I went through the Florida DBPR licence roll and matched every name in the Branford area against it. Only one of the seven below came back with an active roofing licence. That's not a guess. If you're about to trust someone with a ladder and a nail gun, check the same roll yourself — or start with every roofing company we list in Branford and work from there.
Short answer: the 7 best roofing companies in Branford, Florida are led by Byrd's Eye Roofing, Santa Fe Builders llc and BOB & JERRY'S ROOFING INC. Of the 7 listed here, 1 hold a verified Florida DBPR roofing licence, which is the single check worth doing before anyone climbs on your roof. Rankings below use licence status, review volume, rating and photo evidence — all public, all reproducible.
If you would rather browse the full list rather than my shortlist, every one of them is on the Branford roofing companies directory page — this post is the 7 I would call first.
How this list was ranked. Every company here was cross-checked against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licence roll; 1 of 7 returned an active roofing licence (type CCC or RC), and the licence number is printed on each entry so you can verify it yourself. After licence status, ordering uses Google review count (capped so a big chain cannot buy the top spot on volume alone), star rating, and whether the company has photos and published hours. Nobody paid to appear on this list.

How to check any Florida roofer's licence yourself
Search the licence number at the Florida DBPR licence portal. A roofing contractor holds a CCC (certified) or RC (registered) licence. If the number does not return an active record, that is the end of the conversation.
