What this is
Florida Roofing Companies and Contractors Directory lists roofing contractors across every county in Florida. Each listing shows the company's name, location, contact details, and — where we could match one — its Florida DBPR roofing licence number and whether that licence is currently active.
That licence check is the whole point. Anyone can put up a roofing website. A CCC or RC number that returns an active record on the state roll is a fact, and it is the single most useful thing a homeowner can know before letting someone onto their roof.
What we verify, and what we don't
We cross-check every company against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licence roll. We do not verify insurance, workmanship, pricing, or whether a company is any good. A listing showing an active licence means exactly that and nothing more.
Roughly 7,000 licensed Florida roofers have no Google Business listing at all. They are listed here anyway, and their pages say plainly that we could not find one — being hard to find online says nothing about the quality of the work.
Where we could not match a company to a licence, the page says so. That is a statement about our matching, not an accusation: plenty of firms trade under a different name than the one the licence is held in.
