What paying does not buy
It does not change your licence status, your rating, or your review count. It does not remove a competitor. It does not alter the ordering logic on any page, which ranks on licence status, then review volume and rating — Featured listings sit above that list and are labelled as Featured, so a reader can tell the difference at a glance.
If that sounds like it limits what we can sell, it does. A directory that sells its ordering is worth nothing to the homeowner reading it, and a directory worth nothing to homeowners is worth nothing to advertise on.
