Crawfordville Roofing Contractors: 20 Compared (2026)

By Shelly Marchetti, Florida homeowner advocate. Reviewed by Hal Winstead, Editor, licensed roofing contractor.

One morning after Hurricane Idalia, I stood in the yard of a 1970s ranch house on Shadeville Road and watched the roof drip. The asphalt shingles had curled and split, and a few lay in the wet grass like dropped playing cards. The owner told me abotu the storm coming throught at night, the way the wind pressed the front door, and how she’d never filed a claim before. She asked me who to call, and I didn’t have a strong answer. The licence lookup existed, but I hadn’t checked it yet. So I made this list later the hard way.

After that, I ran every roofing company we list in Crawfordville through the Florida DBPR licence roll one by one. Four of the 20 below came back with an active roofing licence. The other sixteen didn’t. That’s not a medal; it’s a minimum. A list of names should begin with people who are legally allowed to do the work.

Short answer: the 20 best roofing companies in Crawfordville, Florida are led by Logan Roofing, Blackfoot Roofing & Construction and Legacy Roofing & Inspections, LLC. Of the 20 listed here, 4 hold a verified Florida DBPR roofing licence, which is the single check worth doing before anyone climbs on your roof. Rankings below use licence status, review volume, rating and photo evidence — all public, all reproducible.

If you would rather browse the full list rather than my shortlist, every one of them is on the Crawfordville roofing companies directory page — this post is the 20 I would call first.

How this list was ranked. Every company here was cross-checked against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licence roll; 4 of 20 returned an active roofing licence (type CCC or RC), and the licence number is printed on each entry so you can verify it yourself. After licence status, ordering uses Google review count (capped so a big chain cannot buy the top spot on volume alone), star rating, and whether the company has photos and published hours. Nobody paid to appear on this list.
