Crestview Roofing Contractors: 20 Compared (2026)

By Shelly Marchetti, Florida homeowner advocate. Reviewed by Hal Winstead, Editor, licensed roofing contractor.

Last July, a squall rolled throught Crestview and caught a street of ranch houses off Ferdon Boulevard before I could get my ladder out of the truck. It wasn't the first bad storm I'd seen there, and it won't be the last. By the time the rain let up, watter was ticking into a bucket in one of the bedrooms, and the homeowner had already been burned by a storm-chaser two summers before. That memory drives how I vet roofers.

I put this list together the boring way. I checked every roofing company we list in Crestview against the Florida DBPR license roll, and only 4 of the 20 below came back with an active roofing license. The rest had lapsed, were inactive, or had never held one. If a company isn't on that roll, it can't legally roof a house in Florida.

Short answer: the 20 best roofing companies in Crestview, Florida are led by CQ Roofing Company, Wade Family Homes LLC and Platinum Roofing. Of the 20 listed here, 4 hold a verified Florida DBPR roofing licence, which is the single check worth doing before anyone climbs on your roof. Rankings below use licence status, review volume, rating and photo evidence — all public, all reproducible.

If you would rather browse the full list rather than my shortlist, every one of them is on the Crestview roofing companies directory page — this post is the 20 I would call first.

How this list was ranked. Every company here was cross-checked against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licence roll; 4 of 20 returned an active roofing licence (type CCC or RC), and the licence number is printed on each entry so you can verify it yourself. After licence status, ordering uses Google review count (capped so a big chain cannot buy the top spot on volume alone), star rating, and whether the company has photos and published hours. Nobody paid to appear on this list.
