Best Roofers in Havana FL - 12 Licensed Firms (2026)

By Shelly Marchetti, Florida homeowner advocate. Reviewed by Hal Winstead, Editor, licensed roofing contractor.

I remember standing in a neighbor's driveway on North Main Street, just past the railroad depot, after a July squall ripped throught Havana. The house was a tiny concrete-block cottage, and it's roof was a mess of old shingles and a flapping tarp. The owner said the rain came in every time the wind blew from the south. That's when I started keeping a list of roofers folks could actualy trust.

So here's how I put this list together. I took every roofing company doing work around Havana and ran each one against the Florida DBPR licence roll. Of the twelve below, only two came back with an active roofing licence. That's not a compliment. That's just the bar. If you want the names that cleared it, check every roofing company we list in Havana — I'd rather point you to the honest short list than send you chasing after the others.

Short answer: the 12 best roofing companies in Havana, Florida are led by Tip Top Construction Inc, Salem Construction LLC and Greatphone Repair. Of the 12 listed here, 2 hold a verified Florida DBPR roofing licence, which is the single check worth doing before anyone climbs on your roof. Rankings below use licence status, review volume, rating and photo evidence — all public, all reproducible.

If you would rather browse the full list rather than my shortlist, every one of them is on the Havana roofing companies directory page — this post is the 12 I would call first.

How this list was ranked. Every company here was cross-checked against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licence roll; 2 of 12 returned an active roofing licence (type CCC or RC), and the licence number is printed on each entry so you can verify it yourself. After licence status, ordering uses Google review count (capped so a big chain cannot buy the top spot on volume alone), star rating, and whether the company has photos and published hours. Nobody paid to appear on this list.
