13 Roofing Companies in Homosassa, Florida (2026)

By Shelly Marchetti, Florida homeowner advocate. Reviewed by Hal Winstead, Editor, licensed roofing contractor.

I was on a ladder against a ranch off Riverhaven Drive, just past the bend where the oak roots crack the sidewalk, when Hurricane Idalia’s outer bands flipped the carport aluminum like paper. The owner, a retired nurse from Ohio, watched me from a window while her rain gutters dangled. That moment taught me what a roof really means here—not shingles, but shelter from something that doesn’t ask permission.

To put this list together, I pulled each company’s license from the Florida DBPR roll and ran it against the state’s active list. Only 5 of the 13 below came back with an active roofing license—so yeah, I did the homework you don’t have time to do. Before any contractor climbs your driveway, double-check their number yourself against evrey roofing company we list in Homosassa. That’s the same search I do when a homeowner calls me crying abotu a leak.

Short answer: the 13 best roofing companies in Homosassa, Florida are led by Craig Fass Roofing, Boulerice Roofing & Supply Inc and Creative Roofing Solution LLC. Of the 13 listed here, 5 hold a verified Florida DBPR roofing licence, which is the single check worth doing before anyone climbs on your roof. Rankings below use licence status, review volume, rating and photo evidence — all public, all reproducible.

If you would rather browse the full list rather than my shortlist, every one of them is on the Homosassa roofing companies directory page — this post is the 13 I would call first.

How this list was ranked. Every company here was cross-checked against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licence roll; 5 of 13 returned an active roofing licence (type CCC or RC), and the licence number is printed on each entry so you can verify it yourself. After licence status, ordering uses Google review count (capped so a big chain cannot buy the top spot on volume alone), star rating, and whether the company has photos and published hours. Nobody paid to appear on this list.
