Sorrento Roofing Contractors: 13 Compared (2026)

By Shelly Marchetti, Florida homeowner advocate. Reviewed by Hal Winstead, Editor, licensed roofing contractor.

I remember one August afternoon on a ladder outside a ranch house on Magnolia Street, just east of Lakeview Ridge, when a straight-line wind event tore throught Sorrento. That wind stripped three courses of asphalt shingle off the roof deck like they were playing cards. The homeowner wanted a quick patch, but I told her we'd need to pull back the underlayment to check the nails. That's the difference between a repair and a disaster after these storms.

To put this list together, I pulled every roofing company that services Sorrento and ran each one against the Florida DBPR licence roll. Only 1 of the 13 below came back with an active roofing licence. That tells you how carefull you have to be—so before you hire anyone, study every roofing company we list in Sorrento and compare their records with your own. I won't name names here, but the license number doesn't lie.

Short answer: the 13 best roofing companies in Sorrento, Florida are led by Stanley's Roofing Inc, Florida Cut Above and Allegiance Roof Restoration. Of the 13 listed here, 1 hold a verified Florida DBPR roofing licence, which is the single check worth doing before anyone climbs on your roof. Rankings below use licence status, review volume, rating and photo evidence — all public, all reproducible.

If you would rather browse the full list rather than my shortlist, every one of them is on the Sorrento roofing companies directory page — this post is the 13 I would call first.

How this list was ranked. Every company here was cross-checked against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licence roll; 1 of 13 returned an active roofing licence (type CCC or RC), and the licence number is printed on each entry so you can verify it yourself. After licence status, ordering uses Google review count (capped so a big chain cannot buy the top spot on volume alone), star rating, and whether the company has photos and published hours. Nobody paid to appear on this list.
